Hi,

I'd like something like this for my living room:

themake.co/shop/make-bike-rack

Alas, with delivery from the USA, import duty etc. it's going to be too expensive.

I wonder whether anyone on here can (or knows someone can) knock one of these up. It might be an interesting project and I'm happy to pay whatever is reasonable for materials, labour etc.

Thanks.

hi this is something i could make for you no problem, im not sure if your location is in the UK though?

The design is foul - butt jointed, with short grain where strength is needed.

And the asking price is insane!

I think you are forgetting that bikes weigh about the same as a couple of bags of sugar these days.

The first product by Make co.
Wall mounted bike rack and shelf to store your bike inside and expose it.
Made out of solid wood (walnut or maple) with custom hand made bronze screw caps to hide mounting screws.
Designed to mount a bike with a max handlebar length of 19".

$180

You know it's CAD? Still not cheap, but it's about £100.
