Using scribing gouges would I be able to scribe the tenon of a house door rail to match, mate with the moulding on the stile?
If the moulding profile has fillets, or a more elaborate shape rather than being plain quarter round, if these are the correct terms.
Would I be able to do this by hand and are there any resources, pointers available on how to do it?
See attached, I have carpentry and joinery book one but not by this author, the one I have hardly touches on scribed tenon shoulders nor do any of my books on joint making.
Cheers.
