Guarantee Rip Off

I had already decided that John Lewis would get my business when I am ready. I just went into Currys/PC Word to see what was available even though I made it clear that \i was not ready to buy. The salesman did not discuss any extended warranty or insurance, just made a clear statement that it was now common practice to charge a call out fee even under guarantee. I thing they need some re-training and re-thinking to try an con people that way.
