Freecycle [Gloat Alert!]

I have used freecycle numerous times. Getting stuff is far easier than giving it.
I got 2 x fire xtinguishers, fully loaded and in date, 2 large mirror doors.
I have given various things, but 50% of the time people say they want it then you make an effort to stay in when they wanted to collect, then they dont turn up. Timewasters, or at least half my local group seems to be.

Yes, timewasters is definitely a problem, both in MK and Aberdeen. Folks who say they will definitely take something, so you tell all the others interested that it's gone, then the first ones don't turn up. Fortunately, I've never actually wasted time waiting in for anyone, but it's still annoying.
But like car boot sales, there is always that chance that you will find something. Like a Norris..........
