Has anyone bought one of these or seen this in the flesh

Being short on space, I've been considering this for a while, but there is nobody nearby who stocks it so it would be an unseen purchase.

Its available elsewhere for £1189 inc delivery so seems like really good value, but I'd like a second opinion if possible.

Hi Dom,

Thanks, but I won't be buying it from Rutlands.

Was just wondering whether anyone had one or had seen one?

Cheers, Tony

I hope you get some replies to this as I have also looked at this combo, it's an amazing price for whats on offer. Realise that it will be built to a price, but most Fox equipment I have looked at is well made.

Looks good value for money - certainly better than my Maxi.

However, would want to see it in the flesh and check out adjustment for alighment, how repeatable/stable the fence arrangement.

Exactly my problem. I really want to see it or at least hear from someone who has one to get some feedback.

Fox has always impressed me in the value for money stakes too. One of the best bits about this combo is that it is two separate machines, so the planer can sit apart from the saw/spindle moulder. I really need this as space is limited and the ability to tuck one or other machine away in the corner would be a real bonus.

Someone must have seen one surely.......

I'm working down on Merseyside in June, so I could always try and find a stockist somewhere down there and pop along to see it, or make a detour in the Lake district to Kendal tools who sell it also.

I may end up answering my own question. :?

I recently bought the f60-250 combi, and like you had trouble finding local stockists to view the machine in the flesh, after ringing around i was given the importers telephone number (Hamiltons 0870 7771425) . They then told me the nearest stockists, which turned out to be 30mins away. The machine its self is very sturdy and of good quality everything well thought out, worth every penny . If you do purchase many of the parts are packed inside the saw, spindle. the panel needs to be removed to access these . Hope this helps you!
