Hi,
A few years back I built a home cinema in the loft. Had a company do all the structural changes. Plaster board, floor, wiring stairs and finishing I completed.
Any way after tripping over the cables to my laptop, decide to install a recessed floor socket.
Cutting the opening with the track saw
Routing an edge to recess the box
Box Installed
View of the Cinema
Stairs which I built, the stairs are steeper than normal due to limited space. The Cinema cannot be considered a habitable room due to ceiling height. So if I ever sold the house would not be consider an extra room. But since it is highly unlikely we will move, now retired.
The box contains 2 double socket, 2 USB, 1 Firewire, 1 USB, Made some modification to the box internals to install PC connections.
