My work is rarely perfect, if it was then I wouldn't have anything new to learn, what fun would that be.

Get planning the next project!

Perfection will not come if your keep saying that "its not perfect" in your own mind.

A good effort, which if you like it...more power to your elbow  The main thing is to look at it critically and determine what went wrong, what went right and what could be improved for the next project. For example, I would have made the box out of thinner material, but if it was designed to be on the chunk side, then fair enough.
At the risk of re-hashing old ground, you will never, ever achieve perfection...believe me it's not possible  Even if you make something that you think is 'perfect' there will always be something in it that you or someone else doesn't like. What you need to aim for is 'precision' in all aspects of the making and only then will you start to nudge closer to 'perfection' - Rob

Thanks,

Don't get me wrong, I am happy with it. But there are definitely things that I'd do differently next time. It was nice to get it finished and having it look very similar to the original design idea. It's all a big learning curve and obviously I will get better the more I make and the more I practice.

For this project I am happy 8)
Good effort Paul, everything that I do I will pick to bits and ask others for their opinion then improve next time around.
