First & Last order from Axminster, they can thank DPD.

I do know that as far as shipments in the UK are concerned if you have a problem with a delivery company and let them know then Axminster will not use them again. Their customer service goes even one better than that as in my case I had ordered something for saturday delivery and I got a call from Axminster customer services saying that the only company that they could use to do the delivery on Saturday was the company that I'd had problems with before and what would I like to do. That to me is Customer Service with a HUGE plus sign. Exemplary.

Yodel on the other hand redefines c**p. Two days of 'Out for Delivery' and it is back at the bloody depot again. They also fleece you by charging you to call their customer service line and then keep you hanging on. Well, it's screwed up the weekends project. I'll cancel the order and if by chance the Yodel driver actually does manage to lift his knuckles dragging along the ground and deliver the parcel I will take great delight in telling him where to shove it.

Shame DPD aren't up to par over there, they are bloody brilliant in the UK.

I order a lot of bits and bobs and DPD are miles ahead of any other courier here, hopefully you won't have to experience Amazon logistics in Finland =)

Third day in 'Waiting for Yodel'. Their website now says that the parcel has 'been delivered and left in a safe place'. We have been in all day. Their driver is a lying toerag. Needless to say customer service is closed for the weekend.

Now I have the hassle of getting a refund from Tooltime ...a company that I will never ever use again.

Roger, I believe you're experiencing this: http://viz.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/201 ... parcel.jpg (includes profanities, just in case anyone about to click on the link is a sensitive soul)

Brilliant, sploo. I am having the day from Hell.....near neighbour's daughter's getting married and the House Nazi aka SWMBO has dictated that I make no noise. I have a huge amount of stuff waiting to be done but all involves power machinery of some sort or other. I am bored out of my skull as I don't do sitting-down contemplating my navel which she seems to manage. I'd go down the pub only the thought of facing old vinegar face on my return kind of takes the edge off that idea.

But your cartoon has helped lots, ta.

Having a similar day - lots to do, but got a sleeping baby in a carrier on my chest as "the boss" needs to do some stuff (I don't mind that much TBH as it's quite nice).

Unfortunately it looks like I'll also be having the pleasure of "Waiting in for a f**king parcel" next week, as the headband on my Trend Airshield snapped this morning :(

Here we go. This is what those clowns at Yodel claim as 'leaving it in a safe place'. Needless to say being left by the roadside, it ain't there.
