Silver zinc galvanised like this Adam?Galvanised will work and grease the threads of the coach screws before you screw them in. You can also use stainless if you wish.

Think about how an aircraft wing works, a gap underneath could make uplift worse, especially without the posts fixed down, but those sort of weather conditions are rare in the UK on small structures. Thanks Mike
There will be a gap all round between beams and roof so guessing that would reduce uplift considerably?
Thanks Adam. Very helpful
I see. Going to fix them down. I hate flying!Think about how an aircraft wing works, a gap underneath could make uplift worse, especially without the posts fixed down, but those sort of weather conditions are rare in the UK on small structures.
Yep, so going to fix the posts down firstI agree, it's like a wobbly table or a racking workbench - the top can be stiff and stable, but the legs can still move
Thanks but would need to raise the frame to fit so will go for sonwthing heavy duty that can slide uo to the post facesI would use big welded feet to anchor it.
You can then cover these with oak offcuts to shed the water off them .
