The FFX codes and discounts are a scam, I bought something from them 2 weeks back on ebay with 10% discount, one week ago they then offered the exact same thing with 15% discount but had put the price up by £90, be careful and don't rush in for a "bargain" as they will rob you blind without hesitation

Their prices do go up and down, especially on eBay, and especially when eBay are pushing one of their discounts.

That said, I’ve found discounts on their own website to be genuine

Yes they can be but I think if you do your homework you can find some good deals. The best price I found on the web without discount was with FFX and after discount the price was even better

True - but the full £75 discount gets up to over £1000, so it's not terrible

FFX offers a 5% discount for the first order with email sign-up. I always create new accounts and use the discount + if any discount codes are available, I also redeem them.
