I have a very small workshop and have to be very creative with space-saving measures. I have a project at the moment which requires a 1/2" router table, I only have a small router table for my palm router so had to make something to use my larger one.

I made a table-top for my 1/2" using the Kreg insert plate and my triton router. All good so far. I made it a fence and mounted some T-Track on top of the fence for a stop block I had laying around. I want to be able to use a featherboard with it, however all of the featherboards I have found for sale are designed to be fitted to a T-Track mounted horizontally rather than vertically.

I wondered if anyone had an ingeneous solution or knew of any systems which might solve my problem.

I have a Charnwood WO 20 router table and it had T Track mounted on the face of the fence as shown below.....

Can you not do something similar to your fence as it would give you plenty of options for different featherboards then...?

Or, as a The Tiddles suggested, just fit some sort of right angled adapter to your T Track on top and fit the featherboard to them.

I suppose I could retrofit a t track into the front of my fence, although there wouldn’t be much clearance at the dust extraction area.

I think some kind of L bracket will have to be the way to go - maybe I can mount some short t track sections on a block or something.

Measure the fence and t-track slot and I'll run up a 3D printed version, no cost. I need the practice in the CAD software.

How about something akin to an inverted fat 'T'. Clamp both horizontal parts to your existing tee track and your feather board to the face of the upright. If you need more I'll do a rough drawing.
