I 've supplied materials to Paul Daniels but I'd rather keep it a secret.

Tis a pity. Well, that he had died by then not that you got to do the repair...

One of, if not the, best voices. What a loss.

Take care, Mike

errm....not made furniture for anybody famous, but Kate Winslet used to make sandwiches for me.

Chris.

Not done any work for anyone famous but i do have the pleasure of collecting parcels from Rod Hutchinson.

Yes i am just waiting for the WHO? replies.

:D

Ok, not wishing to disappoint you.....Who is Rod ermmm Hutchinson ?

Chris.

Yes, quite a few, not the greatest of people to get money out of, as usually there is an interior designer involved as well.

One very famous jockey gave me a red hot racing tip, lost a fortune

I also thought I could string the expletives together quite well but those famous people are in a different league.

Done quite a bit of work for an Opera singer, she's quite well known if you are into opera apparently. Usually gives me a plate of Profitta rolls with my afternoon cup of tea :D

Not actually done any woodwork for any celebrities but have met a few in TV studios and theatres etc when working in communications.

Used to fly with Roger Shaw of Westward TV fame. Went to fix a computer for Angela Rippon's husband before their divorce. Was told to call at the rear of the house and came across her topless sunbathing. (not a pretty sight!) Was also working at a famous golf course reception area where I was trying to reassemble a transmitter when some one kept pushing into my back. Without turning to see who it was I politely asked them them to desist. A gruff and deep American accent said "sorry he was just trying to reach for his keys".

I turned to be confronted by this enormous neck. it was ......................... Mike Tyson.

I think I mumbled s'OK no probs, let me get them for you or something like that.
Not a very tall man but just a little bit intimidating.

I lived to tell the story :p

hi all, i used to have a lot of meals at buck house and windsor castle, used to go there every other week but i got fed up so after 12 years i left******************* the coldstream guards

Do a lot of work for a very nice elderly guy, who's a KBE and was on the board of roses lime juice, cadburys, BA and the Royal Mint.

Best guy you could ever work for, pays you in 2 minutes flat....

Years ago I used to help a removals company called Pitt & Scott in Highbury by driving their artics and moved a lot of famous people. Best one was Joanna Lumley. I remember she was loverly and made sandwiches. She made cream cheese one's. I said as a joke I was alergic to cheese and she actually made me bacon one's after going to the shop to get the bacon.

After all these years, whenever I see her on TV I say this to my wife, She really gets the hump..

Couple of Premier League footballers & an England cricketer.

They were all right (if a bit dim) but their wives... ](*,) :( #-o

Senior is spot on about money and interior designers.

All in all I'd rather work for Mr & Mrs Average in a 3-bed semi - they tend to pay cash!

I totally agree re JL; one of lifes really great people, I did many commercials with her and she was a joy to have around on the set, always playing games and having a laugh with the crew.

Once many years ago I was working up Newman Street for a TV company as their handyman, statrted out as an agency 1 day, ended up there for over 2 months. Top bloke to work for very generous and no BS pretensions; they did music progs for tv. I fixed all there windows, carpets wallpapers painting the woodwork etc etc also made a boardroom table..... Anyway one day I'm on my knees on the stairs repairing carpet rods (I think) when this polite American voice asks to get by please? I looked up and there was Paul Gambiocini

Worked on a Chelsea footballers house turning his basement into a gym and a well know Sultans house . Also did A wing of Brixton prison up , does that count as a few of the inmates will have been in the papers .

We had a cast iron bench in for repair, one end had been broken off by a careless gardner.
The bench was from Madonna's country estate. 8)
