What would be the best eye protection when using the plasma torch
Got a pair of solar powered auto darkening welding goggles
Find them far to dark for plasma cutting

Welding eye protection is measured in 'shades'. Alternatively, a helmet will have variable shade from 9-13, sometimes switchable to 5-9.

For example: https://parweld.com/product/xr938h/

There are guidelines for the shade to be used for plasma here:

The same company sell glasses with shade 5 should you wish to go lower. Note their advice that gas welding goggles are not suitable as they do not have UV protection.

I'd go talk to a trade counter that sells welding gear and not risk messing my eyesight up using some cheap no name protective gear off amazon or a market stall !
Seriously, you can do yourself some harm ...
