Epoxy resin

Can i ask what epoxy resin do you use for job's like the one in the photo below where they epoxy a nut in the wooden knob thank's Alan

Well, the only combinations I know of are thin, medium or thick and 5 minute or 24 hour epoxies. Take your pick for this one. I guess
it would depend on how accurately the hole has been cut for the nut and how quickly you need it.

just a dead simple 2 part, cheap as you like really - Wickes, B&Q or even pound shops will stock it in one form or another

If you stick to the instructions you won't go wrong

I agree Have made many, just have to remember to put the nut on the right way.

I use the cheap stuff from our local QD stores at £1 a tube for all jobs, it has proved flawless, and at that price you cannot go wrong. It mixes easily, stores well and sets in around 5 minutes, last used on some walking stick handles and ferrules with no issues at all.

It makes no difference which way round the nut goes.

I always check my nuts. The bolt should go in both ends, but sometimes they don't.
