The plate on the motor says the motor is 3ph, but that is needed if you are to have variable speed control. The speed controller is single phase in and variable frequency 3 phase out, the advert does say

Standard U.K. domestic plug

I just wish it wasn't 200 miles from me.

As of midnight it is still only £58.95 and hasn't moved for nearly 12 hours. reckon by the end it'll start shooting up. With the gear going with it it is going to still be a bargain. Mind you the cost of petrol / diesel will probably double the cost or I'd be tempted as well. Sounds like the Clarke lathe only needs a capacitor so that'd sell off for a few quid afterwards.
