This is what the latest MP expenses fuss is all about. Reckon I could undercut that, and maybe go up market with a Buckingham Palace or Versailles version. Form an orderly queue please!

The Telegraph is onto a real money spinner with this whole thing isn't it.
Drip-feeding the claims like this must me making them an absolute fortune!

No complaint from me there, more power to them for it. Probably better it gets dragged out - stops it being "dealt with" and brushed under the carpet quickly.

I say we get rid of them all and replace it with a constitutionally (heavily) limited government and let people live their own lives unmolested by the state.

I'm glad this has come out as it's politicised a lot of people - though I don't reckon it'll last and will eventually become just another scandal to hate everyone but your own chosen party about. Ah well.

Oh...
And the "duck island" and other things on that site are bloody awful.
I wouldn't pay more than their worth in scrap wood.

And interestingly enough the claimant and those who approved it, both lots supposedly our superiors, accepted that such a device would make his Lordshit's Ducks safe from Foxes.
Anyone want to explain to them that Foxes are quite good swimmers? Specially when there's a good dinner in the offing!
Muppets!

Roy.

You may well be correct Richard, I've stopped reading the details I'm afraid otherwise I might puke into my lowly beer as I can't afford Champagne!
Still the ***** who claimed it as protection against Foxes, (Sky News) is still an *****!

Roy.

But if the fox had eaten a duck we would all be very sad and suggest he should have stopped it from happening

The MP concerned probably voted to ban fox hunting just so he could buy it

good old vernon kay, trys that on every interview lol
Bad dum tsss.
The old ones really are the best. :p
Some good jokes raise a wry smile or an internal chuckle - oldies like this really do make me laugh.
Didn't know about Vernon Kay interviews though - good on him.

I do wonder whether they were Aylesbury or not, still, I suspect that as there is only one way to find out we will have to rely on an MP to tell us, after all they have fxxxxd everything else.

Rich.

Well I suppose if we go back to the previous party in power I wonder if they claimed expenses for ladies in waiting housed at Maidenhead?

Genuine expense I suppose.

Some wag emailed the "Today Programme" on radio 4 to ask whether it was the duck's first or second home.
