I'm a DT Tech at a High School and designer/maker in my own time. I use CAD a lot with my work to make all sorts of things from event decor to jewellery

DT = design technology, when I was at school we had metalwork, woodwork, textile and technical drawing classes, I think DT combines these classes, I'm sure Mandy will correct me if I've missed out anything.

If I remember correctly it was called Industrial Arts but everyone knew it as Shop Class.
