Drilling holes and bench dogs

I have a drill stand (not a Wolf one!)

I drilled right through.

Hacked together the attached which worked quite well for the vice mounting bolt recesses, although needed the clamps for the 25mm auger bit as it lifted the base. Smaller bits may not require the clamps.

Unfortunately I broke the drill stand on something else before getting to try it with the woodbeaver bit on a bench dog hole test run. Maybe I am destined to get a wolf stand after all!
