Hello all,

I'm in the process of kitting out my workshop proper right now, got a Scheppach TS4010 (Ally not Ci) off the 'Bay about 6 months ago now, just noticed that it doesn't have a riving knife, I've just sent off an email to NMA to see what they can offer, as I don't think their call centre will be open tomorrow. I'm just wondering if anyone has got hold of one before and if so, where from?

I can get hold of a blade guard with integrated extraction, but not the knife, was expecting it to be the other way round! :)

Cheers in advance for any advice. _Dan.

Get some ground flat stock (aka tool steel or gauge plate). It comes in a variety of widths and thicknesses and 18" or 500mm long.
and cut one to suit. GFS is much stiffer than mild steel.
Cromwell tools or http://www.mscjlindustrial.co.uk - just two suppliers from many others.
As you possibly know that the correct thickness is greater than the body of the sawblade and narrower than the tips/cutting kerf.
