Domino's too loose

I bought a Domino with the 2nd sustainer case full of Domino's.

Ive used all the 10mm ones and they fitted great, ....ordered some more 10mm from a reputable supplier and they are too loose.

They are fine on the width, but loose on the 10mm thickness.

I checked with a vernier and the original ones are 10.1mm and the new ones are 9.98mm.

I'm making a table and the joint is really quite wobbly between the apron and the leg.

Have i just got a duff batch ??

I normally find domino's too tight if anything, never had any too slack. I always presumed once the bag has been opened they absorb some moisture and swell up.

And what's more to the point they swell even more when glued, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Leave a couple in the kitchen for an evening when you're cooking or somewhere a little damp and measure again.

The glue will make them swell up don't worry. I had to put all of an opened bag, nearly 600,of 5mm in oven as they got damp and were nearer to 6mm
