Chris (katellwood) kindly sent me the end taper but I think there is something wrong with Axminster's sizing of their roll.

The start of the roll looks correct.

but by the time you get to the other end, the width of the tape does not result in a natural taper into the fixing hole

To fix the problem you have to cut the abrasive but that leaves a small piece that will tear unless it's fixed wdown with tape or a glue gun.

I don't recall having this problo em with the original Jet loading.

A very helpful chap at Axminster has emailed me the three different templates for three sizes of paper and I am posting them here.

My sincere apologies, Rob. I have indeed received your piece thanks (postmarked Chester & N Wales) and attributed my thanks to the wrong person.

Nothing to apologise for I was hoping that if you had 2 pieces that you would have either a confirmation or a possible comparison to solve the problem.
I do have the original paperwork with a template for the machine somewhere in my system. Is this likely to be any help? If so I`ll have a search for it for you
all the best
