I have parts that i haven't a clue what they are for or how to use/fit them. :?

Glad to help Paul.

I don't have the manual for the "700 series" machines just a detailed brochure and some old price lists. If I have digitised them I'm happy to email to you and you are welcome to the K5 manual which should give some info relevant to the bigger machines. If not already done, I'm happy to scan the files but might take a little while as I'm snowed under at the minute.

If you ask on here, someone will have instructiuons for the larger combi ( powertools might be able to help maybe if you ask very nicely. - he may not have them or the time or the means to create pdf files of course).

If I can help, pm me with your email address.

cheers
Bob

I have got the original manuals for the machines I have listed but have no idea how to share them but will try to find out if there is any interest and am happy to answer any questions I can about my machines.

Hi
Several ways to do it. I scan each page and create a .pdf file (adobe) using Nitro but no good if you don't have a scanner or the software. It's pretty time consuming but once digitised is easy to share.

I've had a number of email "conversations" over the past couple of days with a lady called Deborah who you might be able to help as I've pretty much exhausted my answers. If you don't mind I'll pm you her email address and then it's up to you whether to contact her or not.

She seems very genuine and unfortunately has bought a bit of a "pup" with loads of bits missing and little idea how to use it.

Cheers

Bob

I have the scanner and software so may give things a try time permitting and if I feel that the result is worth the effort.
I have replied to your pm.

Just to make sure that people understand the machine I have got this is a picture of it.

There have been several things I have never liked about it but in recent times I have decided to resolve these issues and do many upgrade to the machine.
The first issue and possibly the most important is that with the motor mounted in the middle and with the switch mounted on top of the motor which ever function you are using if things start to go wrong the only way to turn off the machine is to lean over the running function you are using to reach the off switch to overcome this I made an extension lead with a stop button in it that I have near my foot and can stop the machine without letting go of the work or leaning over it.

The second big problem is that when ripping on the table saw there is no out feed support until the wood reaches the spindle moulder fence that is the same height as the table saw but is getting on for about 1mt away so I made a simple out feed table from an industrial shelf that simply drops on to the frame that can be seen in the first picture between the motor and saw ant the other end sits on the spindle moulder table.

If there is any interest I will continue to update with further modification I have made

hi there just signed up to forum.
my kity machine has saw, planer, thicknesser, spindle moulder, cup and chisel grinders.
i bought it with all the gaurds, rollers, angle gauges etc etc.
ive had this machine for 12 years or so. didnt use it much, so its been stored in brothers garage since.
ive now brought it home. ive sorted out a couple of wiring issues, its all working fine apart from the spindle moulder.
i dont know how to alter the height of cutter head,
ive managed to free the top wheel with a wee bit of effort but cant budge bottom wheel can anyone give me advice
on this.
thanks william
