I'm actually considering the xxc. I have the extra course eze lap but it cut a little slow for primary bevels. It's either that or get a grinder, but then I'd have to devote space to it.. :-k

I'm delighted with it - it cuts quick enough for the relatively small amount of grinding I need to do, and its great for flattening the waterstones too. Must admit I'd like Wizer's collection of diamonds instead of the waterstones, though :mrgreen:
How are you getting on with your Tormek for grinding? (Sorry, Wizer, a bit OT)

Tormek is good, but still sometimes use the EEC if I'm using a honing guide anyway.
