Matthew at Workshop Heaven had a thread running regarding a problem with wording on his website. What has become of it?

Mike

I was wondering the same

I suspect commercial use of the forum has come into play here

And the fact that Rutlands as well as Workshop Heaven advertise on here

Mark

I suspect what with the others mentioned in the thread having advertising space on the site, it wasnt' looked upon favourably!

Either that or its all been settled and we can all be friends again :D

Deleted I suspect - not surprisingly given the contents. A note from mods would be helpful however, in such instances - not because I disagree with the decision, but to prevent the 'what happened' threads that inevitably follow and further publicise the original article which now cannot be seen and causes even more confusion.

Hi guys,

The thread was pulled as it was a bit of a hot potato and the powers that be have sent me an email explaining the decision, which I fully accept and respect.

Yes, the thread was removed for numerous reasons - if you have any feedback for Matthew please PM him directly.
Cheers
Philly :D

Thanks Phil.

Perhaps it might save the hassle if there was some way of noting that a thread had been deleted? Just a comment in the relevent forum front page, for instance.

Mike

As a newbie could I humbly suggest that in such circumstances the thread remains "on the system" with its original title and location, but the contents are deleted and replaced by a statement from mods giving the reason for deletion?? Such deleted threads could (should?) also be "closed" to further postings?
