I was given this nut and bolt recently. A bit rusty, but useful looking.
Turns out to be a bit of an odd size. The thread pitch is metric, bang on 2mm pitch:
but the diameter is only 15mm.
That's not a preferred ISO size. As far as I can see, if you do want a 15mm thread, it should be a fine pitch option only - 1mm. So what to do?
I tried removing some of the rust - I got it a bit better just by licking it:
Anyone have any idea what I should do next?
