Nah! They are great sportspeople, but I don't think I have ever met an Aussie who is magnaminous in victory - so enjoy their pain while we can - they'll come back soon enough

I think the boot was on the other foot in the (second?) test! I didn't feel any 'sympathy' from the Aussies then.

The Aussies should for once be ridiculed both on and off the pitch. I do lots of business with the Aussies and mostly it is very enjoyable. The last time the Aussies beat England each and every meeting, lunch, dinner was an Aussiefest of scorn and derision. I'm in Sydney at the end of the month. I intend to start my presentations with a round up of jokes pouring scorn on their cricket team.
