I use quite a course tooth T144D blade, used carefully, they do chip a bit but this is covered by the overlap of the hob. I think probably the tops were too hard for the blades you used, perhaps you applied too much pressure to the saw, I'm guessing now. I always use a brand new blade straight from the packet.Thanks for the suggestions. The Bosch documentation, that I have also received from this forum, states "EXPERT Hardwood 2-side clean T308BF". What blade would you suggest? I don't see any blade that's exclusively for hardwood, all of them have a bunch of type of wood listed. Maybe the Bosch T101BF or the T308BFP? All these codes drive me crazy!
So progressor blades are not good for this type of cut?
