Cheaper alternative

Hi all.
Is there a cheaper alternative to this. What does everyone else use. My garage has no extraction. I use a small evolution dust extractor which is pretty much a vacuum and I wear a dust mask so looking for alternatives for when my lathe arrives.
I know you shouldn't pinch pennies on stuff like this. But this is a bit out of my price range. For the moment anyways. I need something that will do a job untill I can afford better.

The JSP powercap has only protection factor 10 (TH1) and according to the HSE it isn't suitable for use with turning hardwoods. If you are going to buy something, perhaps consider something that gives you adequate protection.

An FFP3 disposable dustmask would give you better protection and costs around a quid!
