Here is the next item for the bedroom suite, the computer desk.

This will stand alongside the wardrobes I recently built and below some shelves I have yet to make. There is a slide out tray for the tower unit to sit on and plenty of vents for air circulation.

This will be installed this weekend and then it's on to the shelves and top cupboards.

Well Sim, it is whatever passes for Pine these days, just the general stuff from the timber yard, probably Deal I would have thought. As for the finish it is three coats of Ronseal satin varnish which was the same as the wardrobes. Mind you it was sprayed on so not such thick coats. The stain is medium Oak stain again a Ronseal product.

Okay, i thought as much, I'm trying to persuade myself to stop getting free timber from work when I could get stuff from the merchants. And looking at your work helps me to persuade myself even more. Although free timber is a nice thought

Looks good Mailee, you could hide stuff under the
slidey out tray.

I would not put a heavy monitor on the top it may topple over a bit

Only pulling your leg , i like the design and the vents look realy good as they dont stand out much like big round holes would have ..
