Fair point. Also, self harvesting does have some high up front capital costs, chainsaw, bandsaw etc so its not like its actually free. I guess over time that investment gets a return.

Joking apart Graham, I am glad you are pleased with the timber that you got from them. I have been using them for over 2 years now and never had a bad piece of wood of them.

I hope to get down to their yard again later in the year, if ever you get a chance to go you will not regret it it's like being in Woodturners Heaven and Paul and his Dad are great blokes.

Not seen it yet Vic but sure it will be fine. I am tempted by their 20kg mixed blanks and will almost certainly send for some but would be happier if I knew in advance what species I was going to get.

Give Paul a ring and he will tell you what wood is available and then you can pick what species and sizes that you want.

Remember though the bigger blanks you choose their weight will mean you won't get as many
