On a track I can't see any problem with it, providing the track is long enough to give a good run in.That looks good but I think it makes the saw so long it could cause difficulties, only useful for long cuts.

I'm not sure why not? The scoring blade can be deactivated making it the same as an ordinary track saw.Yeah, but not much good at cutting out a sink hole in a worktop for example.
