Yeah, but not much good at cutting out a sink hole in a worktop for example.
I'm not sure why not? The scoring blade can be deactivated making it the same as an ordinary track saw.
The original post is about cutting up sheets of ply, this saw with its scoring function would be ideal, you've gone off on a tangent which in relation to this post is irrelevant in my opinion.
