Impressive and different. Thanks for sharing. Our cats would love it... to bits ;)

They do not make many pieces, because I cut it twice. First straight and second one inclined at 22.5 degrees. I did not throw a lot of stuff. In the first tree went 90 m, and in the second I finished yesterday 140 m, which bigger ,,,

Unusual decorations, I would say. I made some wood shavings, made with the Japanese planer. I made various essences, walnut, larch, pine, and oak.

That's amazing, I love it!
Is each strip fixed in place in anyway? Or do they all swing round?

The strips all run around a threaded bar from M10, and everything only goes up from the top with an M10 nut. After the holidays all stripes should be folded like a fan, so they take up less space.

That looks terrific lit up. There's a lot of pieces involved so I was wondering how long it took to assemble it? Does it all stay put and does anybody or anything brushing against it potentially lead to hours/days/weeks of endless re-setting?
