After the death of a freebie from Axminster (which proved surprisingly useful) I'm looking for a cheap, compact 12V cordless screwdriver - the type with the battery in the handle - to replace it. For occasional use only. There's a bewildering array of these things on Amazon, ranging from £20 to £50 and up. Some (even at the lower end of the price range) claim to be combi drills (ie hammer action) which I don't need. Enough torque to drive a 2" number 8 into softwood would be fine.
Any recommendations in the £20-50 range?
