Anybody recognise this chap?
Was rescued from a friend's wood basket. Believed to be present from Canada.
About 12" tall.

Anyway this one is a Ermanno romer Ranger type figurine and could be worth ~£40.

Thanks for that! It says Made in Italy on his boot sole. Very fragile, lots of cross grain and broken bits glued back on.
He fills a gap in my gnome collection:
