Hi Smudger,

Never saw those all in wood but the metal version with wood soles. Those are patternmaker's planes with interchangeable bottoms, not sure I only guess...

Marc's on the money. MikeW's got - is it two sets now, Mike? Not that he's a collector or nuffink... But I seem to recall at least one of them is all wood. Nope, my mistake; both are: here and here. That's a nice lot, that. Someone's going to be a happy bunny. Happy, but as Pete says, likely poorer. Henry Osborn's an odd one - not many tool makers can have been listed as being in such diverse locations as Newcastle and Southampton. Wonder if they really are the same company or has BPMs made a boo-boo?

Cheers, Alf

Thanks for the explanation - I don't imagine it will stay at 99p.

The Record 405 with no fence (mentioned as a bit of a throwaway in the last line) might - or would be useful for spare parts for some c******r?
