Can anyone offer me a lift to Harrogate please? -Sorted :)

Hi all,
I've been toying with going to Harrogate this weekend but I have a problem. My contact lenses are giving me some trouble and I can wear them for just a few hours at a time right now. I don't want to risk the drive and get stuck.

If anyone is going tomorrow or Sunday and is passing Nottingham (M1 J25 is 5 mins away) and has room in the car for a little one, I'd be ever so grateful.

If you were somewhat closer - even if it meant like a 30-45min detour, no probs. But the roadworks between J28 & J25 make it more like a 200 min detour.

If you fancied driving up to Leeds\Bradford, you could always park up and jump in with us?

The plan is to go on the day with the worst weather - can't do anything on the 'shop. All forecasts say Sat is really crap and Sunday just crap - so likely to go tomorrow.

Do you not have spare glasses? I wore contacts last year (only in 1 eye for 3 months after the other ones had been zapped) - the disposables were awesome!
