Buying From Powertooldirect.co.uk?

Looking to buy a trend Craftsman Router Table Mk2 and Trend vacuum from powertooldirect.co.uk , their both about £20 cheaper than on axminster, but the reply to my email enquiry took 4 days to receive a reply and was short on the information I requested.
Has anyone bought tools from them, is their service good ? Any problems? Thank alot, Paulc.

Yep i bought an autofeed Makita screwdriver from them, cheaper and quick. No probs here

Looking in my email archive I've only ordered from them once and had to chase delivery. Could be just a one-off though.

I used them about 3 weeks ago and like you found that their response by email was slow and not a lot of info but ordered anyway due to the product being a lot cheaper (Scheppach Tiger2000) It was delivered in good time with no problems.
I would use them again. Hope this helps you a bit more.

I have bought from them, there was a problem with the carrier, but it was sorted out, and there are PEOPLE to talk to there, and they're quite helpful.

If your still not sure why not ask axminster if they will price match,perfectly reasonable and you've nothing to lose
I've had e-mails that took 4 days and it's very poor.

I've sent emails to axminster that have never been answered. Still buy from them though. Powertoolsdirect are a useful supplier, but with any trading relationship things sometimes go wrong.

fair point Roy,but they've put doubt in this buyer's mind which isn't doing them any favour's.Paul mentioned axminster so i just followed, its just another shop.
