13 pounds are 19,00Euro,for two saw, even if more small of mine, seem very very good price.

fortunately there is axminster.

ciao all to you from Italy

you forgive me if I kill the english language

Has anyone recieved their blades yet, are they 24tooth or is it a misprint on the website?
Looked through apt catalogue but couldn't find them.
Mind you at that price it is worth it just for the other one.

Curiouser and curiouser :? Don't realise that they were neg. rake - could only be for RASs, then. I imagine that trying to use a neg. rake rip blade on a table saw might be hard work........

Scrit

I was thinking that too, but you suggested they might be for flipover saws. If it's not too hard to rip on a flipover saw, then surely it wouldn't be too hard on a tablesaw?

One is a 24 tooth blade. Forgive my ignorance, but what is negative rake?
Phil

The cutting faces are tilted back a few degrees from an imaginary line from the tip to the centre of the blade (not a very technical description sorry) producing a slightly negative angle of attack to the material being cut. This helps reduce snatch and is particularly useful in cutting non-ferrous metals and in radial arm saws where standard blades have an alarming tendency to come hurtling towards you. (It's why I got rid of mine - too scary for words)

Got my Bosch blades 2 mins ago. The 80 tooth will be very useful and looks reasonably well made if not quite Freud quality. The 24 tooth is a mystery but I might try it on the TS for ripping as I dont have a 10" 24 tooth at the moment.
The case is worth the money alone, really good quality semi rigid heavy duty card reinforced material with velcro fastenings. You could easily get a couple more blades in it. I might order another just to store my other blades in and flog the blades on the 'Bay or keep them as spares.

Just got mine from the delivery co.

Wow.

I would pay £20 for the case alone. Really swish!! :D :D

I ordered the 305 dia set. I have a 60T and 80T as per the listing. They look the part anyway. I will try to do some test cuts and compare the results to the 72T CMT blade I have on at the moment.

Thanks again for the tip-off!

Simon.

I took advantage of this offer too! Thanks for the pointer.

Agree case is very handy, 24t blade is probably not going to get much use. But it is very fine (2mm) and I guess for projects where finish isn't so important (garden, DIY) it could be a useful one to chuck in to save your good blades? I notice in a old GW review of mitre saws the Dewalt DW712 comes with a 24t blade.

Bet you could get the price of the whole pack back selling the 24t on Ebay anyway!

Cheers

Gidon
