Borrow a FESTOOL TS75 in Winchester for 4 cuts...

Problem Resolved... One of my building buddies is a secret FESTOOL geek...

I know this is an odd question. I've got a load of FESTOOL gear, but I just can't afford a TS75 at the moment, but I need to make some PERFECT 45deg cuts on four pieces of laminated walnut on my MFT/3 greater than 38mm the TS55 will do. Does any one in the area have one I can borrow for about 1 hour. It would be in about 2 weeks time. All my tools are immaculate and I would treat yours the same. You would be welcome to borrow something in return for the same amount of time - or come round and see the MFT/3, Domino & RO150 in action at my place ?

Or perhaps the above question is just too cheeky ?

How long are the pieces that require cutting? If you can get them in your car and want a trip to Weymouth you can use my TS55.

Now if it was tomorrow you wanted to do the cut you'd be in luck becasue I'll be passing Winchester around lunchtime.

Well if you can get them into your car and boat and if they fit on to a train I`ll be having mine out tomorrow...TS75 festool,I have the MFT3 too,and RO 150 with the CT22 and boom are.Want to add the 1010 router too for edgeing.
But alas you many not be able to make it in one day....Sorry

Well, I've been to most places in the US of A but I've not been to Illinois !! I'm not sure I'm going to get that wood into my ruck sack either !! Actually, no, I lie, I did travel through the windy city on my 21st birthday after returning from Australia... I still had Aus gear on, it was your winter and I came out of your airport in shorts... Straight back in and then proceed to put ALL my clothes on...

Actually, now I think about it, I've also been to St Louis... You've got the big Anheuser-Busch brewer their...

I do like traveling over in the US... However... When the police picked me up in Boca Raton for hitch hiking... well... that's another story

I'd use a mitre saw if the cut required was not too large. But it's too large, even flipping the piece and reversing the cut, it's too large... Perhaps forgetting to say the TS75 would be used on a guide rail has not helped... However, I've NEVER used my TS55 without a rail !
