In the workshop today, the mercury says it's 31° in there. 26° in the shade outside with 48% humidity.

Likewise here in Kent.
I'd be working in my pants but I reckon the apprentice would call in the Operation Yewtree squad.

Yet again I thank my lucky stars that I have a basement workshop. In winter iit rarely gets below 16° and today it's only 21°.

All the same, I think I'd better go and sit under a shady tree in the garden!

Been online wearing nothing but boxers - now there's a thought to make you choke on your coffee.

It's hot alright but my hayfever is worse, absolutely killing me this year. Never used to suffer from it. Any advice?

Cetirizine works for me. Depending on the cause of your hay fever some say that eating local honey helps. Cant say I know this to be true but it's not an unpleasant thing to have to try.

You just got to love the British! Complain when it's cold and complain when it's hot

So true! Always wishing it was cooler when it's warm and warmer when it's cold.

Well, Have to say had a lovely day today, I found the thatched house where my G Father was born in Brompton Regis,
Had a pub lunch in the shade, and thoroughly tested the air con.
Even 'Er not indoors was smiling!
Regards Rodders

Yay! It's going down to 25° down here tomorrow according to the met office.

Went for a walk with our village walking groupe this morning and by 11 it was 34ºC, just what we wanted. A lovely day and our pool temp is just at 29   Not sure what my workshop temp is but normally OK with the roof insulation.

Only 29 forecast for tomorrow though   I might have to put a 't' shirt on :? :?

Just had a quick look and 36 or 7 forecast for next week   Canicule, or heat wave to you lot!!

It has been 37C here today. water in the pool is 29C :)

I tested it a lot today :)

Greenhouse high 40's, asian beans, sweet potatoes, ginger potatoes and carrots all doing well.

Snakes busy mating again, this time I videoed them but cant find a way to post the video ( 350 Mb)

The car said 42c earlier today, bloody black cars. Can't put your arm out the window without getting 3rd degree burns.
That reminds me, I hate her car.

A yellow for you today Woody!! I hope it don't get too hot or stormy today mate, or could you use the rain?? We are green down here in the Aude.

Could do with the rain, no fun carrying water to the garden :(

The 30cu metres of manure this year has helped the clay soil immensely. Hope to repeat the process next year. The self seeded pumpkins gone mad. Beans well away as is the sweetcorn. Brassicas which usually do well all frazzled.

Might have rain/thunder Thursday.

While working in Oman on the Arabian Peninsular several years ago the mercury hit 50c on one day - that was a bit too warm!!
