Birch £5 a plank 10'x6"x1" But we must be quick!

Hi there is an auction on eBay today for 160 planks of birch link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JL330-NICE-BATCH- ... 2a02c558ae
The company selling is only 20/30 miles from a friend of mine with a lock up. What I propose is that I buy it (if the price is right); my friend picks it up and stores it; you chaps buy most of it and leave me with a bit. The maths: if you can commit to £5 a plank for 140 planks and we pay my friend £50 for collecting and storing it I would have £650 to bid with. If it goes for any more we lose it, any less we all pay a bit less. The problem is we only have about 4 hours left!!!
Any thoughts or comments?

Thing is, it says 'used' so where they floorboards? Nailholes? That would hold me back but good luck though.

Thanks RogerS, never even thought of that!! I think I'll give it a miss any way due to the lack of response and the fact that I've just bought 2m3 of dried oak from my French neighbour. That gives me plenty to play with for a while!
