Found this amongst a pile of junk, had to keep it, its 53" tall, and very heavy - too good to scrap!

Does anyone owe you money? If the answer is yes then I think you could put your tap wrench to good use

Seriously, that is one big tap wrench, I don't suppose you have any taps that were used with it.

No I have no idea what size tap would be used with that thing, even my 1" square drive 1 1/2" Whit taps would snap if you tried to use them with that size wrench.

It's not for use in tight corners is it, but I guess it would soon clear the bench top.

Reminds me of when i used to use a 24" adjustable spanner, people would ask if i had an adjustable they could borrow and i would offer them that, was funny seeing someone try to use it on an m6 bolt

It reminds me of a 4' long torque wrench we used on the superstructure steel of a power station about 50 km down the coast from Dubai. We had to check 10% of the bolts and there were thousands of them, the highest around 30m off the ground. The contractors were Japanese so safety wasn't a huge priority - no safety nets and very little scaffolding etc. It took four of us to carry out the testing - 2 guys to work the wrench, I called out the reading on the dial and another engineer wrote it down. We were young and carefree in those days - certainly wouldn't do it now.
