the size(and position) of the bead helps to make the stiles an even width. I use blum hinges with a single stop on the left door. saves unlatching etc. it's just something that makes it hand done.
This is some of the work so far, all face frames made in 1 section! even the 4m by 2.4m.... never again
also ive been playing around with how they're fixed, some have been Zeta'd some have been biscuit'd and some just glued and pinned.
Currently working on putting a groove in either the packer or carcass front and using normal biscuits in the ff.
In the office/boockcase photo's we supplied it Spray primed grey, they did a god awful job hand painting it
The rest are primed and painted by the clients.
