Hi All,
Thought I would talk about the recent project I have been working on in the house, the bathroom.

As well as decorating and tiling the floor. I made a new bath panel that allowed for under bath storage and I made a couple of units that sit around the sink for storage and to act as a backer to the bath.

No WIP of the bath panel but this is how it turned out

It's always the same with bathrooms, there's never enough storage space, unless you live in a palatial mansion.

I like the idea of under the bath storage, so easy to get too.
I have a comment on the shelve unit next to the sink, is it possible that water from the sink could splash over and wet the items on the shelf? If not then a good idea.
Regarding the cabinet to the right of the sink, I would have been inclined to use different hinges, perhaps of the concelled type.
Apart from that I think you've put together a very nice project.

Hi waka,
Water has not appeared to be an issue as of yet for the shelving. The only place that does get a bit wet is the top, but that is why I tiled that.

Yeah I would have like to have gone with hidden hinge but not sure of the type I could go with as the door is only 8mm thick.

This misses likes the bath panel as well, I would guess its her favourite part as she has been wanting a new on for ages

Cheers
Mark

Well it is not rested on by the bather. It just caps the bath off really. You can see from a picture about when it sits in relation to the bath
