Bargain of a new toy. Finally have a pillar drill.

Worth a try with some steel putty type stuff. At least having only spent a small amount on the drill you dont have much to lose by experimenting and trying things.

I bet it runs smoother than the £400 JET drill I had for a few days before returning it in disgust.

Oh yer, don't mind at all having to mess about with it a bit to get it fine tuned as such.

Runs really smooth, I was drilling glass so if there was much movement it would of cracked. Not too noisy considering either.
