I don't have one too near me (Newport Pagnell) but I had to visit Maidstone last month for work and decided to take a detour to have a look around the sittingbourne shop. Ended up buying a thicknesser and a planer which gave the wife a bit of a suprise when I got home and started to unload it! :roll:

This is getting FRIGHTENING....

I made it one full day without going....I was working until 3pm and had a problem at work and had to stay on to sort it until 4pm...then I had to go and get changed and finally decided that...well it wouldn't be worth going for 40 minutes would it?!!!!

SO....now I only have three more days until they close....oh BLAST!!! I am off on Friday....

Puncture a tyre....invite Susanna Hoffs around for tea.....MUST do something to distract myself....mmmm

I've a;ways wondered if that pub over the road did good food. A little mini bash down there one weekend would be pleasant

That combination of ease of purchase and reliably OK but not great prices is a pretty deadly combination all right - even for web based purchasing from over the Irish sea.

They certainly don't bust themselves on discount though, not even on quite large orders. 5% is the best i've managed.

Their shipping costs tend to be pretty good value though...

Ok I held off for two days until today and then got up and went with the missus this morning....

So....I am going to get a reduction ring...30mm to 15mm for my INCA and guess what...that is the only one they don't have...

TEN THOUSAND BLEEDIN' ITEMS and they don't have the one thing I went for....

So in a fit of depression I bought one of these...

and...well....mmm...one of these...

and then I thought I would try some of this....

Her indoors went to the car after five minutes to read her book!!!

SO....I survived....£82 poorer which I consider pretty good going...

I STILL have to send an Internet order.....so the purse is still open....
