Using a fence on a hand router tends to be the exception rather than the rule (waits for hordes of router users to disagree...). Generally you do the bulk of the work, cutting a housing or whatever, with saw and chisel and use the router to clean up the bottom so it's all level.Smudger":2nzfz9nj said:Would you use it freehand? I can't see any fence arrangements.

Biggest question (to me) is craftsman or factory made?
Looks craftsman made to me. Perhaps a pattern maker?I was wondering myself - sort of says manufactured in some places, and not in others.
Ha--was caught up looking at the tool to see that--thanks!Smudger":22hybvdb said:You can make an offer...
Any idea what this is?
Well, it evidently wasn't insulting to the seller. Tis mine.MikeW":3b91kfyg said:Ha--was caught up looking at the tool to see that--thanks!Smudger":3b91kfyg said:You can make an offer...
Made an offer. Hope it isn't insulting to the owner.
