Advice drilling 32mm holes in 80mm joists

I am still not convinced it is a good idea to drill a line of these largish holes through the joist in the first place, the odd hole would be compensated for by the other joist but here you are putting a weaker point in all the joist in the same plane, almost like scoring a tile before breaking it on the line.
I can’t see an issue, sparkys have been doing this for years and some only have 1 drill bit like say 1 1/2 or 2” . Depth and width of joist is the deciding factor. The holes / notches were done by the builders plumber different scenario but you get the point . Clean neatly drilled holes no bigger than needed should be fine imo of course - bring on the
structural surveyors..
