I like the shape of those..I have so far turned those slimline pens as just straight sided but intend to try some 'curvature'. Your's look to be the right balance with a straight upper half and fattened lower.
Do they actually feel better to hold than straight pens??

As for the shape - for me they feel better - I like a chunky pen, so far I have had good feedback from the ones I have given to friends.
Drilling the Dymondwood was hard going - messed up one blank completly! Found that a chisel edge HSS bit and water helped, but still took ages!
